Our Projects
Event Processing System
Event Processing System (EPS) provides tools for intelligent event orchestration. The task of orchestration is to process multiple packets of information, data objects that come from the external systems. EPS has a web-based user interface to arrange the orchestration, configure the server, and monitor the server activities.
- Codeless creating and modification of orchestration
- Means for complete lifecycle of the orchestra, from the creating a draft orchestra to testing the fully configured orchestra with the real data
- The rule-like conditions with a broad comparing capability, including comparing with functions and constants
- A self-maintained storage of data object processing status
EPS has the tools to let business staff define the rule-like conditions and perform the appropriate actions. Conditions compare information pieces with constants or functions. The set of standard actions and custom actions is a way to make up a flexible processing flow of data objects.
Technologies in use: Java, JSP, JDBC, JMS, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, XML, XSL.
Case Management System
The Case Management System (CMS) allows business units to manage legal cases (lawsuits). CMS supports various types of actions, such as: Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Litigation, Eviction, Closing, Monitor, Referral, Replevin, Claims, 2nd Mortgage Defense, and Deed in Lieu. Each action type may have one or more templates, or, in other words, subtypes that differ depending on the particular action. Each action template specify precedence rule for an action. Action templates depend on the state.
Actions related to the same mortgage loan are grouped into case files. Various actions can be grouped to be processed together. Data from referral can be used for creating case files and actions. The user can change action status. An action could be in one of the following statuses: Active, Inactive (Bankruptcy actions only), Delayed, On Hold, and On Terminal Hold. Actions can be moved from one status to another.
A qualified person can create and customize wizards, templates and optional fields. E-mail messages concerning an action can be sent using the mailing functionality.
Technologies in use: Java, JSP, JDBC, JMS, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, XML, XSL.
Billing and Financial System
The Billing and Financial System (BFS) enables employees of business units to invoice fees, costs, etc. and reconcile received checks against invoices.
The billing module of the system is used for handling invoices and line items (processing funds paid to vendors, timekeepers, etc. and making invoices to be sent to clients). The user can add/edit/delete, generate, reverse and reprint invoices; make researches concerning, e.g., outstanding invoices; add/edit/delete cost, time and billing, fee, trust and expense line items within invoices; adjust and split line items; request checks from accounting package for line items.
The cash application module of the billing system is used for handling the funds that come from clients as payments for the invoices. The user can add/edit/delete deposits and checks; reconcile a check against one or several invoices; distribute payment among the invoice line items if the check amount is less than invoice amount. Users can generate various reports on invoices, transactions, cash receipts etc.
The billing system interacts with the Case Management System to obtain information regarding offices and case files. The billing system initiates data transferring from the Case Management System.
The BFS interacts with the accounting package and thus provides checking functionality and notifies the accounting package about some billing operations. Also the accounting package provides the list of vendors and notifies on check requests.
Technologies in use: Java, JSP, JDBC, JMS, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, XML, XSL.
Data Discovery System
The division of legal services firm uses Data Discovery System (DDS) to process customer provided data “containers”, and convert them into various digital formats for legal review. This conversion process produces files to be printed out and/or previewed in digital format, as well as informational reports about the processed data.
In order to make strategic legal decisions during the data conversion process, customers have to obtain detailed results at various benchmarks during production. DDS provides the ability to process data faster and more efficiently through better automation, while still retaining the flexibility and service that are hallmarks of its reputation.
The system architecture offers the following key features:
- Ability to provide initial estimates for customer;
- Independent files processing and enhanced exceptions handling;
- Dynamic progress reports;
- Real-time monitoring
- Web based dashboard with common authentication / security model;
- Customers’ visibility to the progress status of their cases;
- Optimized processing routine by initial on-the-fly pre-filtering;
- ERP integration;
- Integrated information flow by means of Event Processing System (EPS);
- Automated job set-up based on project design data;
- Reusability of project design / job set-ups; and
- Automation of container assembling.
Technologies in use: C# + .NET Framework 2.0, MS SQL Server, ASP.NET Web Sites and Web Services, Windows Services, VB6 COM objects.
